Don't you hate it when no matter how many times you wash your hair you just can't get rid of that dandruff ? I know I hate that. Or when somebody else notices it and says " Hey I think you got something in your hair" and you're just like " Oh, it's probably dust or something". WELCOME TO MY WORLD. It's probably the most frustrating thing. Just because you have it doesn't mean your hair is dirty. They say half of the adults have it...and yet nobody seems to talk about it? *weird*

In this article, I'm going to share my tips and tricks on how to "handle" your dandruff. So you can be at ease and stop worrying about if it gets on your clothes, your hat or if somebody spots it out. You're going to walk out with complete confidence and be able to show your hair out or should I say * whip your hair back and forth* like in the hair commercials. * DISCLAIMER * I'm not a doctor or a professional. Just because this worked on me it might not work for you. This is my personal experience and I'm showcasing my personal experiences and hoping that it could help somebody.

LETS BEGIN.

1) Shampoo your hair twice when you're in the shower. If you only wash it once the scalp will build up even faster and you're back to square one. The more you wash it, the more you get rid of the buildup. Try to wash your hair more than twice week, do not skip out on so many days without washing it.

2) Head and Shoulders helps a lot. The only thing is that it does dry my hair out or fades my hair colour. But I can always count on head and shoulders to get rid of the flakiness & itchiness. My favourite is the green apple one, it smells good and gives a nice cooling sensation.

3) The second shampoo that I like very much is the Dove Anti-Dandruff . I would personally use this if my hair was coloured. It is gentle on the hair so you can wash it everyday without damaging it.

4) Mix 3 tbs of fresh cucumber juice and 1 1/2 tbs of lemon ( squeezed ) into a small bowl. Once you're done mixing, take a napkin to dip it inside, soak it all up. You're going to take that napkin and gently dab it onto your scalp. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. And then wash your hair like you normally would. Apparently the lemon's acidity suppose to help with the Ph balance. I like to mix cucumber with it to make it more gentle on the skin. It has worked on me, I would be able to getaway without dandruff for a couple weeks.

5) This one is probably my favourite. I have yet to see anyone talk about this. I really enjoy using the "Mizani Scalp Care" conditioner. Mainly because it doesn't dry my hair out at all, my hair feels smooth right after it. I like to leave it for at least a minute or two, It feels like a deep cleaning on the scalp and I like the fact that I can use regular shampoo with it. I bring this everywhere with me when I travel. I just know I can count on it on bad dandruff days.

6) There are times when I would leave the house and my scalp would be so itchy. It would happen at the wrong time when I'm no where near home to wash my hair again. This is a temporary solution but it eases the scalp. I use the "Mizani Scalp Care Calming Lotion". The scent isn't too bad and it feels nice like a cold tingling sensation afterwards. It's infused with Aloe, Avocado Oil, and Eucalyptus Oil, so you know it's good for you.

I hope this could help you guys out :) let me know if you tried any of these methods or if you have any other suggestions. Thanks for reading!
